4 October: Bills at Raiders

Surprisingly, the Bills defense was effective in stopping Josh Jacobs and the Raider’s run game. I wanted them to sell out to stop the run, since the Raiders really only had Waller to throw to (okay Nelson Agholor when did you learn how to catch a ball? Eagles fans are pissed) and that’s apparently what they did. The Raiders and Bills were evenly matched on offensive stats (Raiders actually out-gained the Bills) except for the score. Two forced turnovers by the Bills help, as well as Bills fourth quarter defense showing out.

And my MVP goes, of course to Josh….Norman?!?! Yep. Coming in late first quarter, he made plays and changed the tone of the defense as the game progressed, including causing and recovering a key fumble leading to the game icing score.
